Description
In partnership with Burlington Neighbourhood Watch and the City of Burlington Fire Department, the Halton Regional Police Service will host a one-day crime prevention programs for children aged 8-10 residing within the Region of Halton.
Attendees will learn about a number of key issues, including Internet Safety, Bullying, and Personal Safety, along with Fire Prevention. These important and timely topics will elevate children’s knowledge of safety and crime prevention, and provide them with tips that can be put to use in their day-to-day lives.
All sessions will be held at the Halton Regional Police Service 3 District, located at 3800 Southampton Boulevard in Burlington. A light lunch will be provided. Certificates will be presented to attendees in recognition of program participation.
Seating is limited so book now. Please include your name and address, child’s name and contact phone numbers you can be reached at during the day.
Cost
$6.00 per child (covers lunch and materials - remaining proceeds donated to Burlington Neighbourhood Watch)
