"The course allowed me to understand the hard work it takes to become a police officer. I am also impressed with the community programs that have been created by the Halton Regional Police Service. The officers I met are all nice people doing a demanding job. I feel better knowing  they are out there on the frontline for my safety."

"The defense lawyer was informative and I appreciated his opinions on the shortcomings of the justice system with respect to the belief that money talks."

"All of the topics presented were very interesting and the speakers were very knowledgeable."

"I always thought the HRPS did a great job but after the Citizen Police Academy, their marks go up a lot higher. A salute to all the team leaders for a job well done."
