| 12-104979 | | Theft | | July 5, 2012 | The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating the theft of a sculpture in Oakville.
Sometime between June 25th and June 26th, a unique sculpture of Picasso cutting the lawn with a self-propelled lawnmower was stolen from the rear lawn of a residence on Park Avenue. The sculpture is designed by New York artist Elliott Arkin and is valued at approximately $16,000.00.
The sculpture was recovered badly damaged the night of July 3rd. The suspect(s) are unknown. Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying the culprit(s).
