Halton Police investigators continue their search for a suspect involved in the sexual assault of a 7 year old Burlington child that occurred shortly after 2 p.m. August 17th.
Police now have a composite sketch of the suspect and are looking for assistance from the community to help identify this man.
The girl, who was playing briefly on her own in a secluded area of the park, was approached by a male who allegedly touched the victim before being interrupted by the child’s friends.
The suspect ran west and disappeared into a wooded area on the west side of the park located on the Northwest corner of Pinemeadow and Headon Forest Drive in Burlington.
The suspect is described as a messy white male 5’8” to 5’10”, medium build, approximately 50 years of age with dark sunglasses and a beard that comes to a point at the chin, but no mustache. Suspect was wearing a light blue t-shirt with a horizontal stripe across the chest (half red and half white) and black jeans.
