Halton Hills Village Constable:
Constable Moreen Smith is the Village Constable for Halton Hills. She works closely with the core communities of Acton and Georgetown using her skills and training to:
Constable Smith partners with business owners and employees on a professional level to address issues of concern in a timely manner. She is also a contact for our High School Liaison Officers and is a member of a team focused on addressing youth issues and supporting youth in Halton Hills.
As the Village Constable, Moreen has formed strong community partnerships with a number of organizations, including:
- The Town of Halton Hills
- The Acton BIA
- Links 2 Care Youth Services
- The Acton Agricultural Society, including the Acton Fall Fair

Community Support Officer:
The Community Support Officer, Constable Maureen Andrew, works in partnership with many community organizations in Halton Hills and Milton, including:
- The Town of Halton Hills
- The Town of Milton
- Golden Horseshoe Crime Prevention Association
- Risk Watch
- Halton Hills Injury Prevention Network
- Parent Education Network
- Our Kids Network
- Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (Georgetown and Acton)
These partnerships open the doors of communication on many levels, including providing training and support, committee work and personal interaction.
The Community Support Officer is responsible for bringing Smartrisk to Halton as a tool for high school aged youth to use in their decision-making processes.
Cst. Andrew is an extension of the Halton Regional Police Service on committees such as Cops For Cancer and as an active leader in the annual Milton Volunteer Fair. She is manager of the 1 District Communities On Phone Patrol (COPP) Program and uses them in support of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, delivering crime prevention letters to specific problem areas in the District.
Cst. Andrew delivers numerous presentations in the community on personal safety, crime prevention, crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED), seniors issues, school bus safety and bicycle safety.
