The Halton Regional Police Service are investigating an armed robbery which occurred on Monday September 19th, 2011 at 8:30 pm at the Hornby’s Pump Gas Bar situate at 8017 Hornby Road in the Town of Halton Hills.

 

A lone male suspect entered the kiosk and demanded cash from the lone employee.  A struggle ensued and the employee suffered severe lacerations and wounds from an edged weapon to his abdomen.  The suspect fled the area on foot.  The victim was able to call 911 and seek assistance from police and paramedics.  The victim was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.
Police cordoned off the area and a search was completed by K9 officers.  Investigation is still ongoing at this time.

 

Suspect description: male, Caucasian. The suspect wore a disguise. Possibly armed with an edged weapon.
