Recognizing the vital role effective internal and external communication and marketing play in achieving the Halton Regional Police Service's Vision to be a world-class police service, and fulfilling its Mission to provide effective and efficient community-based policing, the Service reorganized and expanded its Public Affairs Unit in 2007.
Reporting to the Chief of Police, the Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing leads a team comprised of a Media Relations Sergeant and a Senior Corporate Communications Specialist to build public awareness, understanding and support of policing in Halton Region through:
